Vanessa is Vice President, Marketing Strategy, responsible for overseeing integrated marketing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing marketing campaigns in support of the Fundraising at the American Cancer Society. Vanessa has lead global brand and advertising teams across a wide range of industries including healthcare (Children’s Health North Texas), telecommunications (Brand Strategy, AT&T), aviation (Southwest Airlines & Air Canada) and started her marketing career in advertising agencies (Marketel/McCann, Montreal). She brings a deep passion for mentoring, developing talent and building internal and external collaboration with employees, creative agencies, vendors, and corporate partnerships. Vanessa holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Her professional achievements have earned her awards and recognitions such as the Women We Admire Top 50 Women in Marketing, Southwest President’s Award, AT&T Global Marketing Marketer Award, and 40 under 40 Brand Innovators to watch. In her personal life, Vanessa is a wife, mother of two, and public speaker/advocate as the North Texas Representative for the Rett Syndrome Foundation for over 10 years.
